USA Tariff Guide
UPDATE: US orders are currently paused. We have been advised that any orders placed on or after 26th August Australian Eastern Standard Time will not be accepted by Australia Post until further notice.
We apologise for this last minute change. Our postal service emailed at 6AM in the morning, and gave us only 3 hours notice before shutting down their system.
We've been advised that they will re-open services soon, after implementing a system to make it easier to pay tariffs. We will re-open as soon as we are allowed.

Hi everyone!
The good news: I'm planning to remain open to US customers, for the forseeable future. 💖 😊
The bad?
1. From August 29th, U.S. customers will pay a 10% import duty.
The government hasn't decided exactly who is doing the dirty work in collecting those tariffs, so you will have to wait and find out. We will be tracking the situation very closely in the next month to find out who. I'm hoping to find the easiest solution.
2. USPS might take longer than usual to deliver parcels, as they have more customs processing tasks to do.
I'll be actively following the news & official sources. As we have seen, this could all change at any moment, depending on Trump's decisions. I'll be here to support you as much as I can.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
What is the tariff?
On April 5 2025, the United States imposed a 10% tariff on most goods imported from all around the world, including Australia, overriding the existing Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA). The tariff is enforced by US Customs Border Protection. Will this change in the future? I'm not sure. This 10% fee may go up or down. It all depends on what the US Federal Administration decides on next.
How do customers pay the tariff?
After we send your parcel via Australia Post, it will land in the US and be handed over to US Customs then USPS to finish the delivery.
Either US Customers or USPS will then deliver a bill to your physical mailbox (or maybe your email - again, instructions are VERY unclear), with payment instructions.
The fee notice should tell you how much to pay, and whether to pay online or in person at your local USPS. Once paid, US Customs will approve your parcel and USPS will complete the delivery.
Can I prepay the fee at checkout?
I'm sorry, at this point, we can’t offer that. Only larger companies can afford to do this, because they ship in bulk amounts. Smaller businesses wanting to do this would be forced to pay double or triple the shipping cost. If you want more information about this, I'd be happy to explain it to you - just shoot me an email!
What happens if I don't pay it?
This is important. If you don't pay within 5-10 days, the parcel will be returned to sender or marked abandoned and destroyed by USPS or Customs. We normally won't cover replacement costs, so please pay on time.
I never received a tariff bill?
If you think you should have received your notice by now, or if you see that your parcel is delayed or wrongly marked "delivered", please ring / visit your local USPS to arrange payment and release your package.
I didn't know, can I get a refund?
Sorry, we will not provide refunds if you weren't aware of the tariff costs.
I didn't pay on time and my parcel got sent back, can you re-send it?
We will be happy to re-send your parcel, however we won't cover the cost to re-send it. Don't forget, it's your job to pay on time!
