STARTED SMALL
In early 2021, I became fed up with the grind of my regular job and wanted to do something more creative. So I used my free time and spare cash learning how to make jewelry. I fell head over heels in love with the art.
THEN, I fell into the SJM-verse. (enter, addiction).
At Christmas that same year, I looked for jewelry that captured the epic fantasy world of ACOTAR and Throne of Glass.
I wanted a piece that was subtle and elegant enough for everyday wear. Perhaps something a little playful too. Definitely something that wouldn't raise eyebrows at a family gathering (iykyk vibes).
But nothing fit the bill.
So, putting my newfound skills to work, I sat down to create my first piece - "The Velaris Pendant" (below).
STILL SMALL, BUT GROWING
3 years later, The "fulfilment centre" is still just a big old desk with some drawers in the corner of a room. But the team has grown. I've been lucky enough to hire my friends and family to help stay on top of customer service and order fulfilment (sidenote, my dad calls Aelin's Ring the "Alien" ring 🤭).
I'm proud of the fact that we're a small team. It means we can dedicate our time and attention to you.
