Hi everyone!

The good news: I'm planning to remain open to US customers, for the forseeable future. 💖 😊

The bad news?

1. From August 29th 2025, U.S. customers will pay at least a 10% import duty.

10% is the baseline tariff for products coming from Australia into the USA. Depending on your order, it might be more or less than 10% since certain products are taxed differently according to US import laws, and different shipping companies charge varying amounts to transport products to you.

2. Your parcel might take longer than usual to arrive because our shipping providers have more customs processing tasks to do.

We appreciate if you approach us with kindness if your parcel is delayed. Obviously this change is not what we wanted either, but we'll 100% be here to support you as much as we can.

How do customers pay the tariff?

We have organised so that we pay on your behalf before sending it over.

In other words, duties and taxes will be pre-paid, since we include any taxes in the final cost of your order and pay your government, on your behalf. You will not have to pay additional fees to customs.

This is a new system that we are trying for the first time. We are not sure how smooth the process will be, but we believe it will make it easier for you overall. If you have encountered any issues or have questions, please email us, so that we can work on a solution together.

What is the tariff?

On April 5 2025, the United States imposed a 10% tariff on most goods imported from all around the world, including Australia, overriding the existing Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA). The tariff is enforced by US Customs Border Protection. Will this change in the future? I'm not sure. This 10% fee may go up or down. It all depends on what the US Federal Administration decides on next.
